Is our dispensary medical or recreational?

Capital Cannabis Co is a recreational cannabis dispensary. We do however offer a 20% discount for all customers who carry current medical cards. Many of our valued customers are medical card holders who prefer our service, quality and variety, as compared to the currently available medical & recreational dispensary options.

What do I need in order to shop at Capital Cannabis Co.?

All you need to shop at our dispensary in downtown Montpelier is to be 21 or older, and your non-expired government-issued photo ID ( state-issued ID, U.S. passport, or military ID). Make sure your ID is not expired! Per VT law, your ID will be checked upon entry and at the point of sale.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Capital Cannabis Co takes cash (preferred) and debit cards. Our stand-alone ATM and cashless ATM system at our registers requires payment of a $3 fee per transaction. All revenue from the ATMs goes to the processors and not Capital Cannabis Co. We do not believe in profiting from ATM charges.

How much cannabis can you buy at once?

If you’re an adult 21 or older, Vermont state law says you can buy up to an ounce (28g) of cannabis/marijuana flower or the equivalent in other products like edibles, extracts, and concentrates per day. We can help with conversions, no problem!

Does Capital Cannabis have a loyalty program?
